Which versions of Dolphin are supported?
Dolphin2Go works on any 7.0.x website (up to and including 7.0.7).
Can I try before I buy?
Yes, the apps are free to download (Apple, Android). Dolphin2Go works with any Dolphin website or you can experiment with our test site www.dolphin2go.com.
What are the website extensions?
The website extensions are two PHP files that sit on your website. Dolphin2Go will automatically detect when the extensions are available.
Why do I need the website extensions?
The website extensions enable these great features.
Do I have to install the website extensions to use Dolphin2Go on my site?
No, Dolphin2Go works just fine without the extensions. However, some of the cool new features won't be accessible.
What about upgrades?
Dolphin2Go is free to upgrade. The app will automatically update through the app store. If you purchase the source code you will be able to download future versions of the source code, including the source code for the Blackberry and Windows Phone versions.
I have never developed a smartphone app before. Is it difficult?
Dolphin2Go uses web standards (HTML, CSS and JavaScript) so it's extremely easy to get started. There is absolutely no need to learn Objective-C, Java, C# or any other proprietary language. Write once, deploy everywhere. You get a native app, not a wrapped web site.
